About the service

Midaye offers support for migrant ethnic minority communities in West London (especially those who do not speak English as a home language), with a particular emphasis on reaching the most isolated and disadvantaged families and individuals. They provide a diverse range of community-led projects and activities with the help of multi-lingual staff and volunteers that support people of all ages and backgrounds. Midaye hold peer support group sessions in Kensington and Chelsea as well as offer community counselling to local residents. Their professionals also speak Somali and Arabic.

About the service

IKWRO is a specialist charity organisation offering advice, advocacy, counselling, safe accommodation and support for women and girls of Middle Eastern origin who are still oppressed in the UK from highly patriarchal cultures. They offer support particularly to Farsi, Kurdish, Arab, Turkish and Dari speaking women who have been affected or who are experiencing domestic violence, forced marriages, female genital mutilation and “honour" killings.

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide is a charity providing peer-to-peer support to over 18's, who have been bereaved by suicide. They are based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire and run peer to peer support groups and a support line. There are support groups all across England, Scotland and Wales.

About the service

One You is an integrated healthy lifestyle offering free 12-week one-to-one health coaching, weight management, and physical activity programmes for Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea residents. One You supports those already living with a long-term health condition or help to reduce the risk of developing one in the future. They also provide Making Every Contact Count training to everyone working in Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster to raise awareness of local support, signposting and approach to effective conversations around healthy lifestyles.
