About the service

Fit for Life provide health, fitness and sports as a way to enrich lives of local young people and families. Physical activity is a gateway to phyisical and mental wellbeing.

RBKC Integrated Mental Health Service at Day Centre services are delivered by Grove and Oremi. The Grove Centre and Oremi Centre provide activities for people with mental health challenges. Oremi includes targeted services to clients from African, Caribbean and Arabic Speaking backgrounds.

The Substance Misuse BAME service provides support to clients with dual diagnosis residing in Kensington and Chelsea.

London Friend

About the service

London Friend is the UK’s oldest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans charity. The charity supports the health and mental wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ community in and around London.

London Friend offers counselling and support around issues such as same-sex relationships, sexual and gender identity and promoting personal growth and self-confidence. They are also home to Antidote which is the UK's oldest LGBT drug and alcohol service. Their social groups provide a safe space to meet and socialise as an alternative to the bar and club scene.

About the service

Minds United Football Club is a England Accredited FA Football Club with mental health male, female and mixed teams that play in monthly mental health leagues, monthly saturday friendlies and tournaments in UK and Europe.

 

How to access the service

You do not need a referral. You can just show up and play.

First and second Friday of each month meet at Westway Sports Centre reception at 11am, minibus collection at 11am and returns at 5pm.

Third Saturday of each month meet at Westway Sports centre reception, minibus collects at 12pm and returns at 6pm.

About the service

Minds United Sports Club CIC provides a community club in Earls Court. There are a wide range of sports, educational, employment, and social activities that benefit the community through grant funded programmes in the north and south of the borough.

Minds United Sports Club CIC receive funding to place individuals from North Hammersmith and Kensington and Chelsea on FA Coaching courses, FA Refereeing courses, Welfare Officer Workshops, Safeguarding, First Aid and DBS. The organisation runs a community football programme in North Kensington at the Westway Sports Centre for men, women, young people and mixed groups on Mondays and Wednesdays each week.
