Published: Thursday 15 August 2024

Young people across Kensington and Chelsea have been receiving their A Level results today at sixth forms and colleges around the borough.

Across Kensington and Chelsea, provisional results show 84 per cent of students achieved A Level results at grade A* to C, significantly above the national average of 76 per cent.

Many celebrated as they received offers to their universities and apprenticeship placements of choice.

Cllr Catherine Faulks, Lead Member for Family and Children’s Services, said:

“It can’t be understated how much work goes into completing these exams. All those opening their envelopes today should be immensely proud. I hope our local students are pleased with their results, and that they pave the way for whatever next steps they desire.”
