Gendered Intelligence is a trans-led and trans-involving charity that works to increase understandings of gender diversity and improve the lives of trans people.

Gendered Intelligence delivers a range of direct services, projects and activities to trans, non-binary, and gender questioning people, as well as a range of education, training and consultancy to organisations and individuals who are working to better their inclusive practices. They also engage with public policy and seek to influence legislation, the media, policy and research at a national level.

FFlag

About the service

FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity. They are dedicated to supporting parents and families and their LGBT+ members.

FFLAG offers support to local parents groups and contacts in their efforts to help parents and families understand, accept and support their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members with love and pride. FFLAG volunteers are parents of lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans children supported by other volunteers.

These young people and their families face serious homophobia and transphobia in our society, which brings in its wake prejudice, bullying and alienation.

FFLAG provides a central point for exchange of information between parents groups and local parent contacts through online and post publications.

dsdteens provides information based on evidence and science, sound advice, and personal stories. The online resource is to make dsd conditions easy to understand and more easy to talk about.

dsdteens is an online resource where you can learn about growing up and differences of sex development (DSD). They are usually called disorders of sex development or intersex variations. The site is made by and for young people with DSD. dsdteens teamed-up with expert doctors from around the world to give you up-to-date information on DSD, puberty, growing up, and your life.

Talking Faith in Suicide Prevention

About the service

FaithAction is a national network of faith-based and community organisations seeking to serve their communities through social action.

In collaboration with the Kensington and Chelsea Council representatives of six faith traditions, front-line workers, and people with lived experience, FaithAction developed a faith resource to support faith-informed conversations about suicide prevention and postvention.

Rainbow Migration

About the service

Rainbow Migration supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) people through the asylum and immigration system.

The service can support with the following enquiries:

  • if you are already in the UK and are thinking of, or have already applied for asylum, Rainbow Migration can advise you on all aspects of the asylum process, confidentially and free of charge
  • give guidance on how to apply for asylum, how to prepare for your interviews with the Home Office and how to gather your evidence for your application
  • advise you if your application has been refused by the Home Office and you are appealing in the Immigration Tribunals or trying to make a fresh application based on new evidence. If you are worried about how your lawyer is handling your case then you can also contact Rainbow Migration to discuss this.

Arts 4 Dementia

About the service

Arts 4 Dementia (A4D) signposts people with dementia to arts events in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea. A4D also works with London arts organisations to create short art programmes for people living with dementia, and provides useful resources on its website. There is also an interactive map of dementia friendly events.
