We do not regard  virtual learning as a second best compromise to not being able to Come to Us. Virtual learning enables us to embrace new ways of teaching and learning, and to connect with you wherever you are in the world and whenever suits you to join us. Our programme includes captured live content, pre-recorded workshops, talks and tours, and complementary activities and projects for you to download. As ever, core to learning is the teacher, and we work with outstanding creatives from across the arts to design and deliver our programme.

Inspired by Islamic Art Workshops

These workshops bring leading contemporary artists together with adults and young adults of all abilities who want to learn and create. The series reflects Frederic, Lord Leighton’s fascination with Islamic art, which is evident throughout his home in London. You will learn how to analyse, draw and paint motifs and patterns, exploring techniques and colour palettes, taking inspiration from some of the beautiful examples to be found in Leighton House.
