Leighton House Sambourne House

Volunteering

If you would like to support us by giving your time to help both Leighton House and Sambourne House, we’d love to hear from you.

The Children's Fete, supported by our volunteers, Leighton House.

Leighton House and Sambourne House both have volunteering opportunities for people looking for experience working in museums.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to learn more about Lord Leighton, Linley Sambourne and the artworks in the collections and bring them to life for our visitors. Volunteering can also boost your wellbeing. You can meet likeminded people, recharge your creativity or treat yourself with your volunteer discount in our café or shop!

Volunteering at Leighton House gave me a tremendous appreciation of Lord Leighton and the Holland Park Circle of artists. Working with the staff and other volunteers during an exhibition was truly a memorable experience and gave one the opportunity to share our studied information with visitors from all over the world. Volunteering has rewarded me by introducing me to a wealth of Pre-Raphaelite and Aesthetics artists.
