Families
We take the collections and stories of Leighton House and Sambourne House as the starting points for creating a unique Family Fun programme. Join us this Autumn for arts and crafts, music, storytelling, science and ecology, theatre and dance. In the meantime, why not have fun from home and explore our YouTube library and our Explore More activities.
Our programme is delivered by a team of museum educators and subject specialists, as well as by professional creatives, including celebrated artists and authors. Sometimes our Royal College of Music residents join in too!
We also run special events, from summer fetes to Christmas celebrations.
The new facilities at Leighton House, including a dedicated Learning Centre, a free to access cafe and garden , baby change and a safe place to store buggies and scooters, mean we can offer a warm welcome to the youngest of visitors.

Families are very welcome to visit both houses to enjoy the architecture, collections and exhibition programme. We have free trails and activities to pick up in reception to help you explore and discover.
