Toilets
Temporary toilets are positioned around the Carnival area and will be installed from Wednesday 23 August. Parking suspensions are put in place to facilitate this. In situating the toilets, we try to achieve a balance between catering for the requirements of the event and the needs of residents, we appreciate your understanding.
Sound systems
2023 is the 50th anniversary of introducing sound systems to Carnival and they are vital to bringing an eclectic mix of music styles. Council officers are on hand to monitor noise levels throughout the weekend, and to make sure sound systems close down at 7pm.
