15-17 Hewer Street

15-17 Hewer Street is one of the sites included in Phase 1 of the Council’s New Homes Programme and provides 20 new homes - 10 for intermediate rent by key workers with the remainder at market rent.

The key worker homes are made up of five one-bedroom homes and five two-bedroom homes.

The homes have been constructed on the site of a building with a long history and the design has aimed to retain the heritage and character of the old building.

Construction work started on site by Contractor Willmott Dixon in July 2021, and is now complete. All key worker properties have now been allocated.
