15-17 Hewer Street

15-17 Hewer Street is one of the sites included in Phase 1 of the Council’s New Homes Programme and will provide 20 new homes - 10 of which will be available to rent by key workers with the remainder at market rent.

The homes are being constructed on the site of a building with a long history and the design has aimed to retain the heritage and character of the old building.

Construction work started on site by Contractor Willmott Dixon in July 2021, with residents expected to move in by autumn 2023.
