Application process

  1. Identify the bay you want to suspend and submit your application

If you are not familiar with the parking restrictions near you, check the parking signs and bay markings for the space(s) you want to reserve and the address where this is located.

Check the notice period we require and submit your completed application in time before your start date.

Submission of the form is not an agreement or confirmation of the suspension request

  2. We review your application

We will check your completed form to ensure:

    • enough notice has been received
    • the required spaces are free for
    • the duration required the location is appropriate for the suspension reason

If your application is unsuccessful, or if we have to suggest an alternative location, we will contact you.

If your application is successful, we will email you an invoice to make payment before we can approve the suspension.

  3. Pay to proceed

We will invoice you with the amount due if your application is correctly completed and has been submitted in time with the right amount of notice.

Your suspension will only be approved when we receive full payment.

If we have not received the payment before the start date, then your request will be declined and the suspension will not proceed.

Once we have received payment, we will send you written confirmation (please keep this letter safe as it confirms the suspension details and provides a phone number to report any vehicles parked illegally in the suspended bay.)  You are responsible for contacting our Parking Suspension Team to make sure your payment is made and received on time, email [email protected]

  4. Warning signs are put up

When your suspension is approved, a yellow parking warning notice will be placed on the nearest time plate within the relevant parking place in advance of the start date. The yellow notice will confirm the bay location, the start and end dates and the reason for the suspension.

Vehicles not authorised to park on a suspended bay may be ticketed and removed.
