Notice of Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places 2018

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea ('the Council') is conducting a review of polling districts and polling places as it is required to do under section 18C of the Representation of the People Act 1983 (as amended by section 17 of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013).

This review commences on 3 December 2018.

The Council welcomes the views of all residents, particularly disabled residents, on the Council’s proposals, the (Acting) Returning Officer’s representations or any other matters relevant to the review.

Comments and representations in writing are invited from any registered electors within the Borough, elected representatives and local political parties, as well as the people and organisations that have particular expertise in relation to access to premises and facilities for people who have different forms of disability. Any comments should include, if possible, suggestions for alternative venues that may be used as polling places.

Comments and representations should be submitted in writing to:

Electoral Services
Kensington Town Hall
Hornton Street
London
W8 7NX

Or by email to: [email protected]

The deadline for receipt of comments and representations is 4 March 2019 and any representations received will be available for public inspection. The Council will consider the representations received at the meeting of its Administration Committee on 3 April 2019.
