Write a consultation statement and submit your plan
Consultation statements
A consultation statement is a report about how you consulted your local community about your neighbourhood plan proposals. It should include:
- which people and bodies you consulted
- how many people you consulted including attendee numbers at consultation events
- how you consulted
- a summary of the main issues raised
- information about how you addressed issues in the neighbourhood plan
Submit your plan
When you’ve completed your consultation and written your consultation statement send it to us with your plan proposals. You need to include:
- a map of the neighbourhood area
- your consultation statement
- your proposed neighbourhood plan
- a statement explaining how your plan meets the requirementsÂ
