There is a ten year plan for supporting Arts and Culture in the Royal Borough which you can read here:
The Council’s year-round programme of free arts networking and training events are suitable for:
- artists
- arts organisations
- relevant community groups
Creative and Cultural Sectors
The Council’s Arts Service commissioned some research.
This showed that the creative and cultural sector accounts for around 15 per cent of workplace employment.
It also accounts for 30 per cent of business units in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Cultural Placemaking in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Cultural Placemaking explores the relationship between local ambitions for:
- arts
- culture and creativity
- economic development
The Council launched proposals for Cultural Placemaking on Tuesday 22 May. Experts from the worlds of property, development, the arts, culture and the creative industries attended. Councillors and officers were also there.
