Apply for a resident's permit

You will need to fill in an application form and provide proof of where you live, proof that you are the main user and keeper of the vehicle, and proof that you have a driving licence that is valid in the UK.

You must send us original documents with your application. We will not accept photocopied, faxed or scanned documents. For more information about the scheme and full terms and conditions in the Residents' Parking Guide.

Permits are priced according to CO2 emissions (for vehicles registered after 1 March 2001) or by engine size (for vehicles registered before March 2001) to find out your CO2 rating or engine size go to the DVLA website

You can also get a resident parking permit application form by emailing  [email protected] and leaving your name and address or by calling 020 7361 4381.

You can apply by post or in person for your permit at the Customer Service Centre, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London, W8 7NX.

Please allow ten working days for processing postal applications. If you need to get your permit quickly or if you wish to pay by cash you must come in to the Customer Services Centre.
