Grenfell Tower tragedy response - emotional and mental health support for people affected

Question asked by Claire Simmons

Access to emotional and mental health support for many local residents who were affected by the tragedy in some way is key. In partnership with the NHS, the Council is providing a wide range of emotional and mental health support for residents, based in the community. This offer is open access and available for all. You can find out more about the support which is offered on the Grenfell Support website. More general information about mental health support in the area is available on the OK not to feel OK website.

NHS colleagues provided extensive support for the survivors and the bereaved around the time of the anniversary. The Public Inquiry has also commissioned mental health support for those affected by the Inquiry. We understand that massage was commissioned by the Public Inquiry as part of that support.
