If you have Coronavirus symptoms you can book a PCR test at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, W8 7NX, between 9am and 4pm. It is on the forecourt in front of the Library. You can also book a test at the World’s End Estate piazza, King's Road, SW10, seven days a week from 9am to 4pm.
You can book your free test online or by calling 119. You must follow PHE guidance and remain self-isolating.
You must book a test and bring your phone when getting the test.
Only get a PCR test if you have Coronavirus symptoms or have been asked to get tested. We all need to play our part to protect the NHS Test and Trace service for those who really need it.
If you have any Coronavirus symptoms you must isolate immediately for 10 days, don’t wait for a test or a test result before doing so.
If you are identified as a contact of a positive case, you must isolate for 10 days, even if for some reason you got a negative test during that period.
The most important thing we can all do to prevent the spread of the virus is to remember the basics:
- Get fully vaccinated
- Get your Covid-19 booster vaccination when eligible
- Let fresh air in if you meet indoors - meeting outdoors is safer
- Get tested before periods of higher risk such as visiting vulnerable people or going to a crowded event, and self isolate if required
- Get tested if you have Covid-19 symptoms and are self isolating
- Wear a face covering in most indoor public settings as well as on public transport, unless exempt
- Wash your hands regularly or use hand sanitiser when out and about
- Try to stay home if you're feeling unwell
- Use the NHS Covid-19 app
