Residents are invited to join the Mayor, Cllr Gerard Hargreaves, at Kensington and Chelsea’s principal Act of Remembrance in Kensington on Remembrance Sunday.
The Act of Remembrance will take place at Kensington War Memorial, from 10.55am on Sunday 14 November. Kensington War Memorial is located on the corner of Kensington High Street and Kensington Church Street, outside St Mary Abbots Church.
The Act of Remembrance will be led by the Mayor, Cllr Gerard Hargreaves, who will be joined by Councillors and other civic leaders, members of the armed forces (past and serving), cadets, representatives from the emergency services, and representatives from many community organisations.
The Act of Remembrance will be followed by a Service of Remembrance in St Mary Abbots Church, Kensington Church Street.
The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Sof McVeigh, will lead a second Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at Sloane Square, also on Sunday 14 November at 10.55am. This will be followed by a Service of Remembrance at Holy Trinity Sloane Square.
