Following the successful lobbying for more Coronavirus mobile testing units we had a unit at Kensington Town Hall over the weekend. We have been able to secure another mobile testing unit in Chelsea at the World’s End Estate, SW10 0LU on Edith Yard. The unit will be located behind the Co-op food store and St John’s Church on King’s Road from 10am to 5pm on Thursday 10 September.
Due to fluctuating cases recorded recently in the borough, it’s important that as many people as possible with Coronavirus symptoms get tested to help us monitor potential increases.
Numbers of cases have risen particularly for people aged under 40 across London so if you fall into this group and have symptoms, please be cautious and look to get tested.
You can just walk-in, you don't need to pre-book an appointment to get tested. Please do not attend if you do not have symptoms and do not use public transport. Please maintain social distancing and wear a face covering.
There is also a testing unit at Olympia, but you must pre-book to use this one.
We continue to lobby for more testing units to be in the borough.
