The second round of consultation into plans for new Council-owned homes at Barlby Road in North Kensington has been launched.
The plans reflect feedback from last year’s first consultation round that identified affordable homes, key worker housing and safety and security as key community concerns and are introduced in a video presentation available on the Barlby Road webpage.
Residents, businesses and community members will be able to find out more and ask questions at an in-person event on Treverton Street on 19 June and an online chat session on Monday 21 June.
Feedback can be submitted via an online form from now until the consultation closes on Wednesday 21 July.
The Barlby Road site is part of the Council’s New Homes Delivery Programme, which aims to deliver 600 new Council-owned homes in Kensington and Chelsea, with at least half at social rent.
All of these properties will be built on Council-owned land without the loss of existing homes.
