Deaf awareness art by Pimlico primary

Here is the work created by students in Pimlico Primary Year 1 classes to celebrate Deaf Awareness Week. The art work demonstrates on some of the rules they would follow to help their deaf friends in school.  

1) Playing with a deaf friend in a quieter area if it is too loud "It is too loud".  "Shall we play in the quiet area?"

2) You should tap a deaf person on the shoulder in order to get their attention if they don't hear you.  

3) Making sure our deaf friends feel included and being friendly with the,.  "Why are you sad? Because nobody wanted to play with me.  I can play with you"
