Using funded childcare hours? Interested in sharing your positive experience with others?

What is an Early Years Parent Champion?

These are volunteers who talk to other parents about the government-funded childcare offers and how this has benefited themselves and their children.

What will I have to do?

Early Years Parent Champions would aim to talk to about 4-6 other parents per week, chatting to them while you are out and about your daily routine.

For instance, this could be when you visit local playgrounds, markets, clinics, community centres, school gates, family hubs or any similar places with your own children.

How will this benefit me?

In addition to building your confidence, learning new skills and meeting like-minded people, volunteers will get:

  • after 4 months: a writen reference

  • after 6 months: a voucher of their choice to the value of £100!

I am interested - what is next?
