Tadpoles Nursery School, Chelsea
Actions
We have been at our Chelsea site since 1993. We have a highly qualified and long standing staff team. We offer forest school learning, a large ecology garden where children explore, plant and have fun and this includes a pond (fenced), a mud kitchen and a water room, where they can learn about the different properties of water in an organic way. We believe in play as the key to learning while also including teacher led activities on a daily basis.
We have an onsite indoor heated swimming pool where the children can learn to swim, we teach yoga, music, dance, ecology, football, rugby, tennis and ecology as part of our curriculum and we play special attention through our ECAT (Every Child A Talker) programme to speech and language development.
We are a GOLD AWARD healthy school and hold workshops on nutrition, physical and emotional well being and seek to promote physical play and risk taking in a safe environment. In addition, as a certified play therapist is on site we try to help children who might be having problems/issues through the use of sand play, persona dolls etc.
