Ormiston Latimer Academy is a secondary alternative provision academy situated near Latimer Road in Kensington. It is the Kensington & Chelsea council commissioned provision for children who have been, or are at high risk of, permanent exclusion from school. The academy supports learners who have experienced difficulties with their learning and behaviour in mainstream school. We also support learners with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan.
Learners are educated in small, well-supported groups and follow a broad curriculum of English, maths, science, ICT, humanities, PE, art, life skills/PHSE and food technology. Learners receive targeted support for literacy and numeracy and have access to a range of therapeutic interventions. The academy is rated good by Ofsted.
