Overview:
In this creative and hands-on pop-up lab, participants will learn the art of Mexican hojalateria (metal embossing) using tin sheets to create beautiful, textured designs. This session will focus on crafting Día de los Muertos motifs and traditional symbols.
Objectives:
- Understand the basic techniques of metal embossing and its applications.
- Learn to create Día de los Muertos-themed designs on metal sheets.
- Develop skills in using tools for embossing and adding intricate details.
- This workshop is suitable for children 6+ years. Adult assistance may be required for younger learners.
- Materials, guidance and instructions included in the ticket price.
- All workshop participants require a ticket.
