Drop-in: Crafting with Colours & Screening @ the V&A South Kensington
Actions
Join us to play and explore fashion and mindfulness as a family.
Take part in a creative drop in where you’ll get to make and dance inspired by the Naomi exhibition, mindfulness, and fashion. Each session will include a workshop and the screening of short dance films – Getting Dressed by Second Hand Dance Company – that celebrate the magic of everyday clothes and getting dressed to express ourselves. Each film is introduced in British Sign Language. The screening will be followed by a mindful session led by artist, Tyreis Holder.
Tyreis will guide you as a family to explore how colour makes you feel. Tap into colour therapy guided meditation, play with light and colour and use colourful fabric and magazines in a collage to think about how to introduce colour into your wardrobe.
- Each session is approximately 60 minutes long, starting at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00.
- Capacity will be limited. Please allow some extra time to queue for a space.
- This is a free, drop-in event for families to enjoy all together; no child can be left unattended.
- Suitable for ages 5+.
