Marlborough Primary School (Kensington and Chelsea)
Actions
Marlborough Primary is a unique school; a special place, where the children are at the very centre of everything we do!
Our mission is to foster a desire to learn so that our children excel, enjoy and achieve in all they do. Every day is an opportunity for our children to learn, to acquire new knowledge, to remember more, to use what they know and apply it in different and effective ways. Kindness, aspiration and perseverance are at the core of this school and are deeply embedded in every part of school life.
At Marlborough we:
- know every child as an individual, enabling them to flourish
- develop and nurture individual talents, ambitions and interests
- value parental involvement, interest and support
- ensure children leave having achieved highest standards in the core skills of reading, writing and maths
- enable pupils to excel throughout the broader curriculum
- provide the rare opportunity to be taught by specialist teachers in computing, art design and technology, music, physical education and Spanish which enables children to go further and deeper in these subjects
- offer a range of before and after school services which mean your child can develop new interests and skills
- create a safe environment where all in our community have respect for each other whilst upholding British Values
- make sure all have equal access to opportunities irrespective of protected characteristics

The club caters for a maximum of 30 pupils each day. There is a daily charge of £3.50 which can be paid either weekly, monthly or termly but must be paid in advance. Children attending will be given breakfast and take part in activities prior to the start of the school day led by members of school staff.

Specialist Clubs:
At Marlborough Primary School we offer an extended school day with a wide variety of after school clubs and lessons offered for all ages. Children can enjoy karate, chess, music, art, computing, science, French, writing and a range of sports. These clubs run from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
The club offer is ever evolving according to what our families would like us to provide. All clubs need at least 10 participants to make them viable.
We ask that the children bring a healthy snack to have before their club. This must be nut and sesame free. Sports clubs will require children to change into their PE kit.
Active Day Camps - After School Care Club:
This runs from 3.30pm to 6pm daily and provides children with opportunities to engage with a variety of activities. Children can attend this club from 4.30pm until 6pm once they have completed one of the other specialist clubs/lessons first.
So that we can continue to plan activities and provide the best possible experience for your children we need to know in advance which children will be attending after school care. Therefore, we wish to make it clear that after school care must be pre-booked with 24 hours notice.
For more information visit: Marlborough Primary School - Breakfast and After School Clubs
Holiday clubs: Are organised by ActiveCamps and are available to children that do not attend our school.
