Growing, gardening and forest school play for local families

Cultivate Create is a creative growing project for North Kensington families with a focus on wellbeing and emotional resilience. It provides a safe, non-judgmental space for local families to connect to nature.

If you and your child/ren would like to get involved, please fill out our form. Sessions run alternate Saturdays 1.30pm-4.30pm. Families can learn how to grow from seed to harvest, enhance the Maxilla Studios yard and garden and there is also plenty of time for free play in the wonderful Maxilla Forest School.

We will also include off site trips as well as the chance for peer-led sessions - unfacilitated sessions hosted by one of our project assistants, with time to play in the garden, water the plants, and with access to creative worksheets and art materials.

All questions asked in the form are for ACAVA to prioritise families should there be more applicants than availability, and to communicate directly with you. Once completed we will be in touch to confirm your place.

Families will be priortised according to the following:

  • Referrals
  • Living in overcrowded housing with no access to outdoor space of their own
  • Children with SEND
  • Families living in North Kensington
  • Families living out of borough but whose child/ren attend a state primary in North Kensington
