Parachute Drop @ the National Army Museum
Actions
Help the Allies prepare for the D-Day landings by creating your very own parachute and then dropping it behind enemy lines.
This summer, we're travelling back in time to explore all the different galleries at the National Army Museum.
In the second week of our summer season, join us at the Allied command centre in 1944 as we create parachutes to support the landings of Operation Overlord.
Which material, shape and design makes the best parachute? What will you choose to make sure your paratrooper hits the target and lands safely?
