Our Mission Statement

The Targeted Prevention Team strives to deliver against RBKC’s ambition and values in our commitment to helping children at risk of NEET and young people who are NEET to achieve their full potential in education, employment or training.

Our service promises co-design and collaboration in our work, bespoke and flexible support and interventions which meet the individual needs of young people and our promotion of non-discriminatory language and access to opportunity for all.

To ensure that we deliver our commitment and promises, the needs of, feedback from and engagement with, children, young people, parents/carers, community groups and stakeholders informs everything we do.

The Targeted prevention Team promise to NEET young people:
  • Provide regular weekly contact via telephone, email, text or face to face
  • Give you up-to-date information on employment, education and training opportunities
  • Listen about and respond to your needs through bespoke and flexible support options and interventions
  • Continue to support and advise you through your progress into education, employment or training opportunities and, if wanted, while you are settling in
