News and what’s coming up:

  • New Gardens are open! Since our last email we have re-opened our gardens which has been a wonderful time for all involved. A big thanks to London Sports Trust and NOVA members for joining us to announce the name of our newest dinosaur, Fern, which was named by local young people. It was great to see so many of you who have been involved in the gardens and your families and friends at the preview.

  • October Half Term activities coming soon

We are thinking ahead to our next holiday and this year the October Family Festival activities are all based on biodiversity. There will be exclusive activities for our local community and also activities for all of our visitors so keep your eyes open for an email from us with more information coming soon.

  • Do you need volunteers for your local community or youth organisation?

Could your community organisation benefit from some volunteers on a Friday in September or October? At the museum we have colleagues with skills in construction, archiving/storage and project management that are keen to support local organisations. They could help out with something specific that relates to their skills, or generally lend a hand with tasks that would be useful. If this sounds interesting, drop us a message at [email protected] or 07769 239024 and we can have a chat to see what might work.

We hope to see you this summer at the Museum and in the local community!
