Midwives and Health Visitors

Actions

If you are pregnant, your main point of contact will be a Midwife, who will provide care and support for you and your family while you are pregnant and for approximately 10 days after your baby is born. After this, a Health Visitor (who is a specialist nurse or midwife with extra training) will then take over from the midwife and be your main point of contact until your child reaches 5 years old.
