A healthy diet is an important part of a healthy lifestyle at any time but is especially important if you're pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Eating healthily during pregnancy will help your baby to develop and grow. There is a lot of misinformation and myths about what we should and should not eat during pregnancy. The NHS website provides information on how to have a healthy diet during pregnancy

If you are more than 10 weeks pregnant and have a child under 4, you may be eligible for the Healthy Start Scheme (financial support to buy cow’s milk, fruit and vegetables, pulses and vitamins). Our page Healthy Start can provide more information on the Healthy Start Scheme and whether you are eligible.
