Council Plan Action Plan 2023 to 2025

Delivering our Council Plan commitments

In March 2023 we launched our new Council Plan which sets out an ambitious agenda to become the best Council for a borough that is greener, safer, and fairer. It details where we want to focus as a Council and what we need to improve over the next four years. It shapes everything that we do including how resources are allocated and how we measure our progress and performance. Over 1000 residents, bereaved and survivors helped shape it and shared their views on what was important to them and where the Council needed to change.

This action plan gives an overview of what we will do to deliver the Council Plan over the next two years, highlighting the key things that will be delivered in that time. This includes how we will deliver our Council-wide change activities, many of which are about embedding the broader lessons from the Grenfell tragedy, responding to the challenge from bereaved, survivors and residents to use the learning from the tragedy to change for the better.

The action plan is part of our continued effort to share our progress on implementing change and delivering what matters to residents. Residents and other stakeholders can use this information to monitor progress and impact, alongside other information we publish around performance.

Activity is set out against the commitments in our Council Plan, with a section at the end setting out the Council-wide cross-cutting change activity that will support us as we develop to become the best Council and continue to change to improve outcomes for residents.

Our Council Plan outlines that:
