COVID-19: Help with shopping and food

Information on help with shopping and food

To make sure that residents can access their weekly shopping, the Council is funding and collaborating with community providers and organisations. You can find details on the range of food and shopping support available on this page.

Food and hot meals support

The Council has been working with voluntary and community organisations throughout the pandemic to make sure that all residents have access to food. Now we are coming out of lockdown restrictions, we know that some residents will still face challenges as a result  of the pandemic. Therefore we continue to support local initiatives so that they can carry their invaluable work. This includes foodbanks to help our residents meet their food needs.
