Our charter

We aim to maintain a good standard of street cleanliness between:

• 8am to 8pm in residential streets
• 8am to 11pm in shopping areas and other busy streets
• 24 hours a day in main shopping streets

We also aim to:

• remove all litter, dog mess and autumn leaves
• remove all fly tipped materials on the day we are notified or within 24 hours
• empty all litter bins once a day
• empty litter bins in main shopping streets three times a day
• undertake intensive cleaning for all major events such as the Notting Hill Carnival

Enhanced neighbourhood clean up

We are completing a year-long programme of enhanced street cleaning and graffiti clearance as part of plans to tackle anti-social behaviour and enviro-crime across the borough. Our new teams will be going ward by ward, from July 2023 to July 2024, using new equipment to tackle grime.
