With such a terrific range of events taking place this weekend across Kensington and Chelsea, the Council are pleased to have been able to support local community groups, organisations and individuals in creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Cllr Sof McVeigh, Lead Member for Communities said,

This weekend, Kensington and Chelsea will celebrate the Coronation in style, with events happening right across the Royal Borough. From the apt location of the King’s Road to the world-famous Portobello Market, we have public events for everyone to enjoy.

We’re contributing to more than 40 fantastic community events and street parties through our City Living Local Life Fund. I’m looking forward to seeing the borough celebrate and I hope everyone has chance to take part in the historic festivities.
