The Council’s Housing Management department are supporting Keep Britain Tidy in their Great British Spring Clean with a number of events across our estates.
Every act to protect the environment, no matter how small, makes a difference so we’re encouraging residents to #BePartOfThePick.
From the 4 April to the 8 April, skips will be located at Swinbrook Estate, Henry Dickens Court, Wiltshire Close and Worlds End Estate for residents to get rid of any rubbish or bulky items they want to clear out from their homes or estates.
Residents can also help clean up our estates by taking part in our litter-picking exercises and speak to Council staff about sustainability and recycling, TRAID about fashion reuse and recycling, and SUEZ about waste management.
We will be at the:
- Balfour of Burleigh estate, 10 am until 2pm, on the 5 April
- Cremorne estate, 10 am until 2pm, on the 6 April
Come along and help us cut litter, improve our public spaces, end waste and educate our future generations.
