Residents can find out more about the Council’s plans to refresh its Housing Allocations Scheme at a series of online focus groups being held during January and February.
The sessions have been organised to allow people to find out more about the Scheme, learn why it is being refreshed and discover how they can make their views heard. Participants will also have the chance to discuss their views with members of the Council’s Housing team.
Our Housing Allocations Scheme sets out the rules for how we allocate housing and tells you who can apply to go on the housing register, who gets priority for housing and the size of property people are eligible to apply for.
The sessions are as follows:
General public
- Friday 28 January, 12pm-2pm
- Monday 21 February, 6pm-8pm
Community groups
- Wednesday 26 January, 12pm-2pm
- Wednesday 9 February, 10am-2pm
Each focus group will be held online. If you would like to register your interest in attending any of these sessions, please email [email protected]
