Park keepers confirm playground safety

We are aware that there have been rumours and images circulating on social media which appear to show spikes on play equipment. As soon as we saw these images our park keepers and parks police checked parks with play facilities. We have found no evidence of any spikes in any of them and want to reassure residents that there is no evidence of this in Kensington and Chelsea. We will continue to inspect our play areas.

Anyone who sees evidence or images appearing to show something dangerous in our parks should email [email protected] for us to investigate as soon as possible.  

We have flagged the images with other parks managers in London to check their facilities.
