RBKC has partnered with the Post Office to take part in trialling its new ParcelShop service at Kensington Central Library, as one of 12 select locations across London chosen to participate.
The new service means that residents and those working in the borough can now pop in to the library and save time by collecting and returning Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide pre-paid parcels, and also returning Amazon Returns parcels, in a reliable and secure way without having to queue at the Post Office.
With many people having busy lives and less free time, plus the continuing rise of online shopping, the service offers more convenience, particularly as the new ParcelShop locations often have longer opening hours compared with Post Offices. For example, Kensington Central Library is open until 8pm on Thursdays and 5pm on Saturdays.
Speak to a staff member at the library Help Desk to use the service and to ask any questions you might have.
If you use this service and complete their online survey at postoffice.co.uk/parcelshopfeedback there’s also a chance for you to win a £100 One4all gift card – that’s one way to brighten up a dull January!
