Kensington and Chelsea Council has appointed a new Executive Director for Environment and Neighbourhoods, Beau Stanford-Francis. Beau, who is joining the Council in January, is moving on from his current role as Director of Public Realm at Newham Council. He is highly experienced in delivering a wide range of award-winning neighbourhood services.
With plans to create even more amazing spaces across the borough, become a carbon neutral Council by 2030 and continue to build on the results of consultations with our residents, Beau will be joining Kensington and Chelsea at a very important time.
Maxine Holdsworth, Chief Executive says:
Beau is joining Kensington and Chelsea as our work to deliver our new Council Plan commitments really gets underway. Becoming the best Council for a borough that is greener, safer, and fairer is at the heart of the ambitions that the Council and our residents have for our communities.
Beau Stanford-Francis says:
Throughout the appointment process I have been impressed by Kensington and Chelsea's ambitious Council Plan and its commitment to providing the best services and outcomes for all of its residents. I feel honoured to have been afforded the opportunity to be a part of the journey.
