This year, Kensington and Chelsea will be home to the annual ‘Get into Transport’ Apprenticeship Fair, hosted by TfL, at Kensington Town Hall, kicking off National Apprenticeship Week on Monday 3 February.
As well as holding this event in Kensington and Chelsea for the first time, the Council will be exhibiting as a supplier along with over 30 other organisations including HS2, Network Rail and Heathrow, who attendees will be able to discuss opportunities and career paths with.
With a wide variety of roles on offer, ranging from Level 2 to 7, people of all ages and levels looking for their next step can discover an exciting route into a rewarding and professional career, with many apprentices progressing onto higher levels and being sponsored through a degree.
Throughout the day there will also be workshops covering personal skills development, CV clinics, and a talk by Commissioner of Transport for London, Mike Brown MVO, along with a panel of current apprentices in the transport sector who will share their experiences.
Two sessions are on offer, one in the morning (10.00am – 12.30pm) and afternoon (1.00pm – 3.30pm), and slots are available on a first come, first served basis.
