General Election results for Kensington and Bayswater, and Chelsea and Fulham

The General Election took place on 4 July 2024. Joe Powell of the Labour Party was elected as Member of Parliament for Kensington and Bayswater constituency early this morning after votes had been counted at Kensington Town Hall. Joe Powell obtained 17,025 votes and wiill take over from Felicity Buchan as MP.

In the Kensington and Bayswater constituency, which replaced Kensington constituency for the 2024 election, 42,122 residents turned out to cast their votes, 54.5 per centof the electorate. This was a 13.2 per cent decrease in electoral turnout from the 2019 General Election.

MP Joe Powell said: "Thank you to the people of Kensington and Bayswater. Tomorrow is the fresh start that we need for our country and community."

The Chelsea and Fulham constituency, which includes Chelsea Riverside, Brompton and Hans Town, Redcliffe, Royal Hospital, and Stanley wards, elected Ben Coleman of the Labour Party as their Member of Parliament, replacing Greg Hands.
