Calling all artists, musicians and budding creatives, the Kensington and Chelsea Autumn Arts Grants scheme has officially opened for entries until Wednesday 9 November.
With a pot of £30,000 for the autumn scheme available, applicants can submit for grants of up to £3,000 to support innovative and engaging arts projects within Kensington and Chelsea.
The grants submissions window are open for three weeks, and on funding being awarded, applicants have up to a year to schedule their events.
Recent projects have included poetry, dance, painting and storytelling. Take a look at our spring grant recipients.
Previous recipients have hosted shows, theatre productions, public art displays through to mental health supporting workshops, gallery exhibitions and the range of projects continues to grow.
Cllr Emma Will, Lead Member for Culture, Leisure and Community Safety has said:
Kensington and Chelsea is a hub of creativity and a top destination for culture around the world. The Arts Grants scheme is a great opportunity for local people to be a part of that cultural make-up and add to the vibrancy of the borough.
Budding and established creatives are encouraged to apply, either as individuals or as partners with businesses or organisations within the borough.
First time applicants can also book a 20-minute surgery to discuss your application with one of the scheme's grant officers.
This year, an integrated application form will make it easier for applicants, smoothing the process by reducing the time needed to complete and enabling residents to apply and submit easily and quickly in one place.
