Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team

The Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team (LWNT), established as a semi-independent local neighbourhood team in response to the June 2017 Grenfell Tower tragedy, provides estate-wide refurbishment and local housing management services.

LWNT seeks to transform how we deliver our services and involve residents in the decision-making process. Lancaster West residents can access neighbourhood services though the WeAreW11 app.

LancWest Works

LancWest Works is team's employment support programme providing residents of the estate and North Kensington with access to employment, learning, and career training opportunities. By working with partners and contractors, the team promotes local talent to employers and supports residents on their career journey. LancWest Works offers support tailored to each resident’s needs, helping them achieve their employment goals.

LancWest Connects

LancWest Connects enables residents and organisations to connect through green volunteering within the local community. This promotes health and wellbeing and personal growth. We offer volunteers a great experience and opportunity to contribute, connect, and support Lancaster West to become a modern estate that is carbon-neutral by 2030 by 2030.

Green Skills Academy

Green Skills Academy provides free training and work experience for residents, small business owners, and community members in North Kensington and beyond.

From green construction areas such as retrofit (improvement work on a building to improve its energy efficiency), to gardening, green skills are in demand across a variety of sectors. All these jobs and skills are vital for the borough and the UK to achieve our carbon neutrality goals.
