Saying hello to Wiltshire Close in the first of our summer roadshows!

We invited the residents of Wiltshire Close Estate to drop in, ask questions, raise issues and have a friendly chat with us, at the first of this year’s series of summer roadshows.

Residents who came along said they found the event useful and were pleased to meet staff and be able to raise issues directly with the teams. Some stayed to chat, while the children enjoyed face painting, soft drinks, and ice lollies on what was a scorcher of a day!

Present on the day were members of staff from the Council’s new Estate Care team, including Estate Manager for Wiltshire Close, Stephen Bowen, who said he was delighted to meet residents - some for the first time - and that he and his team were looking forward to resolving some of the issues raised on the day.

Sisters Joan and Ann said:

“It has been really useful to hold this event. I’ve managed to speak to my financial inclusion officer and she has been very helpful. I’ve got a few other things sorted too. We like to put a face to a name; it helps when you know who you are speaking to.”

The next Estate Care meet and greet is at Powis Square, W11 2AX, on Wednesday 27 July between 1pm and 4pm where the Colville Ward Team will be looking forward to meeting you!
