Bright Sparks is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works with local authorities and social landlords to divert reusable second-hand furniture and other household items (white goods, small electricals, bric-a-brac and crockery) from landfill. Through this work, they provide jobs for local people, volunteering opportunities for individuals looking to get back into work and purposeful activities for socially excluded individuals. All the reusable items are cleaned, tested, repaired if needed, and available to purchase at reduced rates for local people.
Residents should visit Bright Sparks website and use discount code RBKC2022 at the checkout for an extra 20 per cent off until 31 December 2022.
