Core offer activities

We offer activity sessions on Sundays, after school and during holidays as part of our core offer.

Our core offer isn't part of a care package and doesn't guarantee any regular bookings or regular slots.

Core offer activities are:

• open to all children and families who live in the borough
• aimed at children and families that have a very low or no-care package funded by the Council

Sunday activity sessions

Location

North centre.

Date and time

Usually one Sunday a month from 10am to 3pm unless specified in the programme.

Who can come

Children and young people who don't receive a Saturday care package or only receive one Saturday per a month can book into one Sunday activity per month.

How to book

There are only six spaces per session and these are bookable on a first come, first served basis.

We mail out flyers every month and don't take advance bookings.

Cost

Each session costs £2.50.

This is non transferable and non refundable. If your child does not attend and we do not receive any cancellation this may affect future bookings.

After-school activity sessions

Times

4pm to 6pm

Who can come

If you receive an after-school club care package, you will not be eligible to book an additional after school activity.

How to book

After-school activity sessions are available to book each term.

There are a maximum of six spaces on each activity.

Due to popular demand, you may not be able to book an activity for two consecutive terms. We will do our best to accommodate your booking.

We can only take block bookings for a full term.

You will receive a flyer in the post a week before the term begins and we only take bookings after these have been mailed out.

Transport

Non provided.

Your child can arrive from school on school transport and has to be collected by 6pm by parent or carer.

Holiday activity sessions

Day and times

Holiday activity sessions run during all holidays and once during half term and other holidays.

Sessions run from 11am to 3pm.

Who can come

Children and young people not receiving a holiday care package can book into one session per week.

How to book

There are six spaces per a session and these are bookable on a first come first served basis.
