Join us online with Raymond Tattle to learn about the fascinating history from 1798-2021 of The Kensingtons - a citizen regiment. This talk will give an outline of the history of the 13th (Kensington) Battalion London Regiment, Princess Louise's Kensington Regiment 1798 -2021.

Though the physical connection between Kensington and Princess Louise's may have gone, the Royal Borough remains the home of the `Thirteenth Grey` and its successor units. Alongside the talk, Raymond Tattle will present a vast collection of never-before-seen historic photographs, archive material, and campaign maps associated with the regiment.

Raymond Tattle was born and raised in Kensal Rise North London and now lives in Berkhamsted Hertfordshire. His grandfather joined the Kensington Regiment in 1911 and his father joined in 1938, both father and son were proud to have served in The Kensingtons. As a third generation `Tattle` who did not serve in the Regiment, Raymond considers it a great privilege to have been invited to join the Regimental Association and to help ensure that the continuing history of the Regiment is maintained in the name of those who have gone before.
